re*hydrate - Deep Tissue Massage (NMT, MFR, IASTM)
The goal of this deep tissue service is to first identify areas of restriction in your body by analyzing your posture. Restrictions in the body can impede movement, block circulation, cause acute injuries, and even contribute to chronic pains and illnesses. In this service I combine neuromuscular and myofascial release techniques to free up these restrictions, and ultimately begin the process of re*hydration to restore pliability to the tissues. In most cases, I will also use my favorite tool (a heated massage scraper) for more effective results. My work is very detailed and thorough, and it is always tailored specifically to meet the individual's needs. This means that I will work with your body's tolerance. This service is perfect for you if you:

This soothing service takes a more generalized approach to help improve the parasympathetic nervous system (PNS) while still making sure to customize a nurturing and intentional touch with the right pressure. The PNS includes all the nerves that branch out from the brain and spinal cord to the rest of the body, and it plays an essential role in promoting relaxation, digestion, and recovery, helping the body to function optimally in a balanced state. In most cases I will also include a brief lesson on proper breathing using the diaphragm, as diaphragmatic breathing also influences the PNS.
